Someone come rescue me and serenade the hell out of me with this. Sigh.

I’m sitting beside some of the loudest people ever and one of them was complaining about how its so stupid it was for a female to be a referee for a UFC fight. They were saying stuff lime “She doesn’t know what she’s doing!”, “She’s look better in a bikini,” and “She won’t be able to break up the fight if it gets too heavy!” Now, I’ll be honest and say that I’m not the most vocal person when it comes to my stance on feminism, but I was so close to turning around and saying “Women have the right to do whatever they want to do and they are just as capable as men. Just because you’re pissed off by her not being in a skimpy outfit holding up a sign for the next round doesn’t mean you should criticize her for doin something your closed mind can’t understand.” I just dislike stupid people sometimes.
